~My Cole-e-berto~

~If you want your heart to go pitter-patter, than you just need to spend a few minutes with my Cole-e-berto! This is one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet. He has the kindest heart of any boy I have ever seen. Cole had a great time playing on the Stuttgart Blue Knights team this year~

~Steve unfortunately, was not able to be Cole's team coach this year, which was a little hard for Cole... but we were very impressed to see how much he has improved from last year. The biggest difference was that the kids were no longer able to just run with the ball and make shots. This time they were actually called for traveling... so they had to dribble the ball non-stop - which takes a lot of coordination for these little kids.. but they did awesome!~

~The coach was getting confused because he kept telling Cole that he needed to pick a dribbling hand.. which is going to keep confusing coaches for many more years... Cole actually does sports all with his left hand.. but everything else in life he does with his right hand.. I think that this will one day be a good thing..I think we definitely have a switch hitter on our hands!~

~I love to take Cole to the little center of our tiny village where he catches the big tour bus for school. Every day he sits in the seat where I can see him, and before they drive away.. he puts up his "I love you" with his fingers and gives me the secret code - 3 blinks with his eyes.. this is our little secret.. "I love you" for each blink... I love this little guy with all of my heart. He has been my life saver while Steve has been away.. and taken on a lot of his dad's responsibilities around the house. The one he has taken the most seriously is giving me some giant hugs before he goes to bed. He gives me two.. one from him and one from Steve.. my heart just melts every night~

Thanks for holding down the fort for me Cole while I'm gone! You're the best!

That's funny, I play sports with my right hand and everything else with my left hand. I thought I was the only one, guess not.

Okay that melted my heart! And I love your secret 'three blinks' code. That is about the sweetest thing I've ever heard!

Coleberto, Coleberto, Coleberto I love you... Coleberto, Coleberto, Coleberto Yes it's true!!!! (read as a song) How fun to see our little man doing the things he loves to do! Tell Cole he is one lucky guy to have such a cool bus, and that we loved his BB team pictures. Keep up the dribbling practice! (I would think being able to use both hands would be a great asset there)
Oh Yes, thanks for getting back with me about the website I wanted you to look at. Your advice was good, even though you are so right about my loathing for exercising. I must submit! Arrrgh. Thanks for such a fun post of the boys...I find myself reading and re-reading just so I can look at them. The missing of all the grandkids is severe.

That is the sweetest thing ever! I love the secret three blinks. And how sweet that he is picking up the slack while Steve is gone.
Sounds like he has a little Nana in him with that ambidextrious ability!
